Knitting Classes at Greta's Handcraft Centre - 2008

Greta's Handcraft Centre will again be running our extremely popular series of Knitting Classes & Workshops throughout 2008. Classes and Workshops are held at our shop in Lindfield in a comfortable knitting area, providing all amenities.

All knitters from Beginners to Advanced are welcome and a wide variety of subjects will be offered to satisfy all levels.

Finishing Techniques Class

A very popular class, designed to give all the techniques to finish your knitting with a professional look. In this class we look at Invisible Cast-on edge, increasing and decreasing, picking up stitches for necklines, short row shaping and three needle shoulder joins, and stitching using Mattress stitch. This class will be held on the following dates:-

Friday, 20th June, 2008 Saturday 21st June 2008

Friday 12th September 2008 Saturday 13th September 2008

Friday 24th October 2008 Saturday 25th October 2008

All classes commence at 10.00am and finish at 1.00pm.

Class fees are $45.00 per person.

Knitting Workshops

As well as our structured classes, knitting workshops are available twice a week.

Tuesday 11.00am - 1.00 pm

Saturdays 10.00am - 12.00 noon (not when structured classes conflict)

Morning tea is served, while you work through any of your knitting dilemmas. Beginners are welcome.
The cost is $35.00 per 2 hour session, bookings are essential.
